As we are through our first year of sheltering those suffering from homelessness, we have had some great community support! We have had several churches step up and help out with some dinners here at Branches of Hope! Thank you to all of our partners providing dinner to our folks!

Throughout the month we have various individuals and groups that donate food and various items to the shelter and some serve the homeless in practical ways. Let us know if you would like to help out by emailing us and coming down for a Tour of Hope.

Our financial need.
Our annual budget is just under $500,000 to cover all the costs of full-time staff covering our facility from 5 pm to 8 am, 365 nights a year, providing programming to help get the homeless back on their feet.
Our greatest need actually is funding, so we are asking people to just give what they can on a monthly basis to help us keep our doors open. The cost to a city or county for one homelessness person runs between $40,000 - $120,000 per year. Often the homeless end up in jail, the hospital, or the ER.
Daily needs.
We need regular items that everyone needs to run a household. Remember the homeless when you go to the store or if you have something extra at home that you don't need. To see what we need today, please see our Daily Needs page.
Did you know that Midwest Food Bank Georgia provides us with the needed food and resources to serve our clients? Midwest Food Bank Georgia is located in Peachtree City, Georgia and distributes food to over 230 non-profit partner agencies in the Southeastern United States.
